Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an Organization Manager/Project Engineer to provide leadership, management, and engineering oversight for a field office delivering critical design and construction projects in the Olympic Region. This role ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and stewardship. The Project Engineer will foster a balanced workplace that supports professional growth, workforce diversity, employee safety, and pride in ownership while serving as a local WSDOT representative to legislators, local agencies, industry partners, and the public. Through effective management controls and adherence to WSDOT policies, this position ensures cost-effective designs, constructable deliverables, and well-administered construction contracts. This role directly supports WSDOT’s strategic goals in Workforce Development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Resilience for Washington’s transportation infrastructure.
