We are currently seeking an Chemical Engineer Co-op to join our team in Toledo, OH. This is a full-time summer internship, onsite role requiring daily presence at our Toledo office. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this position. Position could also be located in Nashville/Brentwood, TN.
An ideal candidate will be a Chemical Engineering student with 2D and 3D CAD experience, who's eager to learn. The Chemical Co-op will be introduced to process chemical engineering with the opportunity to visit our clients facilities and experience process operations. The intern will gain exposure to piping and instrumentation schematics, process engineering equipment design as well as 2D / 3D CAD modeling.

Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
Performs assigned tasks under close supervision of Department Manager or designee. Receives specific and detailed instruction.
Learns and uses department standards, methods, and procedures respective to field of study.
Meets various deadlines on daily duties or special projects as assigned by DM or designee.
Occasional travel may be required.
Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.
Qualifications
Current enrollment in a two or four year ABET accredited Chemical Engineering degree program. Second or third academic year preferred.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Salary Range: $20-$23 per hour depending on year in school
