Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking motivated, high potential recent graduates to join our Sales Engineer Development Program, a 12-month learning and development experience designed to build future leaders in technical sales. This program is part of Linde’s LEAD framework—Learn, Engage, Achieve, Develop—and offers the opportunity to grow your skills at one of the world’s leading industrial gases and engineering companies.
What You’ll Do As a Sales Engineer Development Program participant, you will:
Participate in a structured 12month program designed to deepen your understanding of LG&E’s products, services, and business operations
Build leadership skills through hands-on assignments, technical training, job shadowing, and project work
Support a General Sales Manager and their team by leading and coordinating sales execution projects
Collaborate with a team to develop customer solutions and sales strategies
Assist in troubleshooting customer challenges, providing onsite support, technical insights, and recommended solutions
Demonstrate products and applications to new or existing customers, often partnering with senior sales professionals
Engage in outreach activities including cold calls, customer visits, and prospecting
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, promoting sales, negotiating supply agreements, and ensuring strong service delivery
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and external customers
Ensure all activities comply with Linde policies and applicable regulations

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
1–2 years of experience (internships, coops, research, or related experience included)
Demonstrated leadership through campus organizations, athletics, or community involvement
Innovative, adaptable, motivated, and committed to continuous learning
Strong communication skills and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong integrity and the ability to build trust with others
Proven ability to reach and exceed goals

Commitment to contributing to a strong safety and performance culture
