Summary:
The successful applicant will assume a key role in supporting the hardware development of the company’s semiconductor and scintillator-based radiation detector products, especially in medical imaging applications.
Responsibilities:
- Own Mechanical design on prototype and product development of radiation detection instruments and medical imaging systems.
- Provide mechanical solutions for gantry and fixture of different imaging modalities.
- Manage product assembling SOPs.
- Communicate progress and achievement status to leadership, R&D partners, and others.
Skills and Experience:
A minimum of five years’ experience in the following areas:
- CAD/Engineering drawings.
- Medical device and imaging system design, prototype, and development.
- Operation of CNC and related machines.
- Fast prototyping and 3D printing are highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- A hands-on individual who works well in a team environment.
Education:
Higher degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent
