Description

Summary:

The successful applicant will assume a key role in supporting the hardware development of the company’s semiconductor and scintillator-based radiation detector products, especially in medical imaging applications.
 

Responsibilities:

• Own Mechanical design on prototype and product development of radiation detection instruments and medical imaging systems.
• Provide mechanical solutions for gantry and fixture of different imaging modalities.
• Manage product assembling SOPs.
• Communicate progress and achievement status to leadership, R&D partners, and others.
   

Skills and Experience:

A minimum of five years’ experience in the following areas:

• CAD/Engineering drawings.
• Medical device and imaging system design, prototype, and development.
• Operation of CNC and related machines.
• Fast prototyping and 3D printing are highly desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• A hands-on individual who works well in a team environment.
   

Education:

Higher degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent
