Adena Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful execution of construction projects by managing engineering and administrative functions. This role works closely with the Project Manager and Field Superintendent to coordinate project logistics, documentation, subcontractors, and cost controls from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities
- Support preconstruction activities including estimates, schedules, and bid packages
- Coordinate RFI, submittals, and cost tracking
- Maintain and distribute project documentation and reports
- Assist with procurement, subcontractor oversight, and jobsite coordination
- Participate in schedule updates, risk analysis, and project meetings
- Ensure safety compliance and quality standards are upheld
- Contribute to project closeout and future opportunity development
Position Requirements: Position Requirements
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred or the equivalent work experience
- Strong computer experience including Microsoft Word and Excel required
- VISTA accounting and project management software experience preferred
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
