What’s the job?
As the Senior Manager, you will serve as the expert for Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) within Abrasives in North America, including Canada, Mexico, and the United States. This role focuses on developing EHS&S strategy and culture through collaboration with business stakeholders and employees across 12 locations.
This role will interpret regulations and apply them to specific site situations, ensuring compliance while meeting operational needs. Expertise in federal regulations from the EPA, NRC, and OSHA, along with knowledge of state and country-specific regulations, is essential. Staying informed about regulatory developments is crucial for advising management and minimizing impacts.
Additionally, the Senior Manager of EHS&S is responsible for developing the competency roadmap for EHS&S professionals and enhancing overall capabilities, while coordinating with regional teams to align support and strategy with the group’s objectives in EHS&S.
Requirements
What do you bring?
- Bachelor's degree in an Environmental/Industrial Hygiene discipline, Science, or Engineering. Master of Science degree in a related field.
- Professional certifications in EHS is preferred
- 10+ years of experience within a Regulatory Environment.
- 10+ years of first-hand experience in corporate EHS management.
- 7+ years leading teams (direct or indirect) comprised of diverse disciplines.
- 7+ years of knowledge/experience in product stewardship & environmental, health & safety practices.
- 5+ years of experience managing programs related to sustainability.
Pay Transparency:
Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $129,900 to $207,800 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 17% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $155,610 to $249,210 Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
