Advanced Polymer Monitoring Technologies, Inc. develops, manufactures and distributes instrumentation for the real time monitoring and control of high volume industrial polymer reactions and related areas of polymer characterization. We also offer consulting and characterization services in the field of polymer science and engineering. Our mission is to reduce cost, improve quality and reduce environmental footprint for industrial polymer reactions and promote a better understanding of polymer physics and chemistry through characterization.
Company History
APMT was founded in 2012 as a spin-off from the Tulane University Center for Polymer Reaction monitoring and Characterization (PolyRMC). The Company is an innovative start-up providing customized online monitoring solutions for all types of polymer producers seeking to optimize their manufacturing processes and improve product quality. The basis for APMT's products and services are a portfolio of Tulane University patents which were invented by Prof. Wayne Reed, Director of PolyRMC, and developed by Prof. Reed and the other founders of APMT while at PolyRMC.
